The game is without doubt a brilliant remake designed to entice a new audience, but for some hardcore fans nothing can match the original. However, despite a few niggles, there’s plenty to enjoy and admire here. This haunting, creepy horror is guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat, so don’t play it on your own!
Frostpunk 2
Another remake, this time a follow-up to 2018’s BAFTA-nominated post-apocalyptic survival strategy game, Frostpunk. Set thirty years after the apocalyptic blizzard that destroyed the planet, Earth is still dominated by a harsh, icy climate.
Playing as the Steward of humanity, you must help the planet’s remaining population survive. Build up colonies, research new technologies, and avert ever-emerging crises as you guide humanity to towards a brighter future. Part society survival game, city building, and strategy, Frostpunk 2 has undoubtedly improved upon the original.
